Newer! Hornier! With more compression!

Writing a new track for recording this week. I really want to work with some horns so I've been banging my head against composition for the last 2 days. Finally got it working. Look out!

PRO TIP: If you want an easy way to make your drums sound really bad ass download the Fuzz distortion and Roughrider compression plug-ins from Audio Damage (both free). EQ your drums then put the Fuzz on them cranked. Then, the compressor. You will be amazed.

Working on Whiteboy

Working on the second half of my first single (aka the B side). This track is getting produced by the talented Taylor Hales and will feature the talented Josh Linsky on drums and Seneca Block on bass. We've had great help from Mike Malchicoff as our recording engineer and Matt Sileverstein as our mix engineer, really cool to have other people involved in the process of putting together one of my songs! I initially demoed the song in my room, and have been in the studio twice now (both sessions happened to be from 2 - 6 am....). The track has some tricky time changes, but these guys were up to the challenge, Josh even made a chart to keep track of what went where. I forgot my camera for the vocal session, but plz enjoy these photos and videos from our drum/bass tracking evening.

So I've been adding shirts to googly eyes for some time now, and with my first free day in a while I took a little time to make a couple for some friends. Ch-ch-ch-check out the new designs!

I'm trying to go with some space-themes, so why not the zodiac? This is supposed to be Aquarius
